Mr. Alipour told officials that his entire possessions wouldn’t amount to $3,000, arguing they should waive the fee because he is a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war. It’s one thing to shout for Mousavi, one thing to shout “Down with dictator” (without specifying exactly WHO the dictator is), one thing to shout “Down with Khamenei”… All this time this holy cow that is the islamic republic hadn’t been mentioned. Now they have gone all the way and said those words.
A strange thing: The guy filming says at [1:24]: “Neda, let’s go back to the car.” It’s eery cause Neda Agha-Soltan who got shot was with her teacher and they decided to get out of the car to get some air. I mean, it means nothing, but it’s strange that of all names the guy would talk to someone with that name.
